In addition to that, we as members of the Montfortian family worldwide, are celebrating 300 years since our founder St Louis Montfort who loved the poor, died and entered into heaven. We are here share with the elderly  the little we have as a congregation."

The congregation of the Daughters of Wisdom has  already assisted vulnerable people in the areas like Nguludi in Chiradzulu, Ntepuwa in Mulanje,Mwanga in Phalombe, Matiya, Sitima and Chipini in Zomba.

Expressing her gratefulness to the Catholic's gesture of charity, one of the beneficiaries, Edna Isaac said, "I very much thank the sister for thinking of us and bringing this help, people here are suffering as this year the rains were not that good."

Sr Mary said that this is only phase one, and if things go well, there are other phases to follow in months to come. The Daughters of Wisdom, are found in the Archdiocese of Blantyre and Zomba Diocese.
